Everything's Turning Out Grey

In a country that celebrates ambivalence, the weather has been nothing but bipolar - having both wet and rainy seasons in one day. This may have been one of the reasons why a thick, gorgeous, and lovely grey coat from SheIn was my ultimate choice to brave the weather.

Escape

It has become official. I have thrown out all the color in my closet and adopted all of the dull hues I could possibly put inside my wardrobe. In an effort to pay tribute to the little boy that is living inside my soul, here is the most masculine thing I've worn.

Snip

In the past few days, I've been thinking of a major wardrobe change. One that would include simpler pieces and dabbling into a more monochromatic palette. Thus this outfit which I wore for Valentine's. No worries because there's no annoying shades of red except for my lipstick because I don't celebrate cliché holidays.

Waiting on Sunshine

Yet another set of photos to conclude that I am obsessed with monotone colors, hats, and sunglasses. Although, I try to do my best by sometimes wearing dresses (which is once in a millenia).

Crossbones

Paying homage to my asian roots by casually bringing in a new hairdo to the blog. The usual unkempt, no-brush hair might have been a complete bore to everyone. Also, a somewhat new look to break away from my grunge outfits from a few posts back.

199X

It's not a secret that I am usually inclined to outfits I'd rather be comfortable with and style always comes as a far cry second. I've been going through a morose and being stuck in a rut when it comes to styling. This is the reason why I've been experimenting too much with my wardrobe.

The Dark Side

Often times people see me as someone who has a knack for mixing and matching clothes. Though I've never been pegged as someone who dips her toes and tries other fashion styles. So, this is me. Experimenting. Hi.

Yin and Yang

Making the best of different worlds - the yin and yang is always accompanied by the notion of two different opposites but then again, two different opposites can always compliment each other. It actually depends on how one's point of view is on things.

Downtown

Here's a little throwback to a few months ago in a place where I swear I could have spotted in a scene of Grease. To celebrate how I recluse to wearing too much non-color, see here an outfit that includes the you'll never see them on me occasional black pants.

Coming In Hot

A quick post about my elusive love-hate relationship with this outfit and two new things I happen to have fallen in love with. Now hover on over to see the latest addi(c)tion to the family, folks.

Black Out

Apologies for the long hiatus, I've fallen into a lackluster of some sort where life and work has gotten the best of me and it put blogging at the backseat for quite some time.

To make up for the apparent disappearances from this here website, here are quick snaps of how I literally wore something that looked like pajamas and could quite possibly be the most comfortable outfit I've worn in ages.

Here Comes The Sun

What is my essential outfit for a music festival that involves a lot of walking and includes public transportation? Something that'd goes in the line of comfort. Since I'm not really a concert goer, attending Castaway made me experiment what I'd wear to a music festival.

Safe and Sound

There's something about nude tones that make me feel secure. I'm not of the whitest complexion variety and I usually don basics that would complement my skin and nude hues would always be the safest choice - for any skin. Nudity (no pun intended) can be a tad saturated so I would always pair it with prints that wouldn't make it too much of a bore. It doesn't take a genius to create an outfit, so I think this look is a no-brainer. Besides, I would feel too naked if I didn't put anything else over something. I like covering up and hiding things, I feel comfortable in doing so.

Channeling Lua

Just a quick outfit post from what I wore at the SM City Clark Tech Fair Sale. If you haven't read my post yet, you can read it here. We rushed these photos hence the blurred copies, nonetheless, I think these turned out better than expected!

Stained Hearts

To paint a picture is one thing but to create a masterpiece is another. It concentrates on the perfect marriage of making imperfect strokes and lines that'd equate into great art. Life is all about making the right and wrong strokes but eventually ending up with one that is needless to say, something to be proud of.

Vibrant Subtlety

Colors reflect boldness. It reflects a person's capacity to think beyond the norm, to create a visible line between what's possible and what isn't. It makes people surpass consequences and builds confidence to whatever is justifiable for a person to do. It suffices as an excuse to be big enough and to stand out.
